Data Deletion Instructions

How to disconnect a marketplace and request deletion of data stored by commercemon.

Last updated: 2026-08-14

Disconnect a marketplace

Sign in to commercemon, open Dashboard → Store connections, select the store, and choose Disconnect. You may also revoke the application directly in the relevant marketplace Seller Center.

Disconnecting stops future synchronization after commercemon receives the revocation or detects it during the next authorization check. It does not automatically delete historical reports that you previously asked commercemon to store.

Request deletion

Use the signed-in support function in the commercemon dashboard and request either:

  • deletion of data for a named connected store;
  • deletion of all marketplace data in your workspace; or
  • deletion of your commercemon account and associated workspace data.

Include the affected workspace and store identifiers. We verify that the requester is authorized for that workspace before processing the request. Never send marketplace passwords, access tokens, or payment-card details.

What happens next

After verification, commercemon deletes the requested active data unless retention is required for security, billing, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or marketplace developer obligations. Limited audit records may be retained where required. Residual copies in encrypted backups expire through their normal rotation.

If another workspace independently connected the same store, we do not delete that workspace's records without a separately verified request from its authorized user.

Platform-side deletion

Revoking commercemon does not delete information held by Shopee, Lazada, or another marketplace. To exercise rights concerning data held by a marketplace, use that platform's own privacy and seller-support process.
