Terms of Service
Terms governing accounts, marketplace connections, reports, exports, and paid commercemon services.
Last updated: 2026-08-14
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of commercemon. By creating an account or using the service, you confirm that you are legally able to enter this agreement and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.
2. Service
commercemon is an independent software service that helps authorized sellers connect marketplace accounts and organize operational data such as orders, products, inventory, returns, settlements, and available analytics. commercemon is not Shopee, Lazada, Shopify, TikTok, or any of their affiliates.
Platform names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Marketplace availability, fields, and synchronization frequency depend on the official APIs, approved scopes, regional rules, rate limits, maintenance, and seller account type.
3. Authorization and Your Responsibilities
You may connect only a store or account that you own or are expressly authorized to administer. You must:
- Provide accurate account, business, billing, and authorization information.
- Protect your login credentials and restrict workspace access to authorized people.
- Use imported data only for lawful business purposes and in compliance with marketplace terms, privacy laws, and consumer-protection rules.
- Promptly revoke access and notify us if an authorization was granted by mistake or an account is compromised.
You must not bypass platform access controls, attempt to retrieve masked data, scrape a platform contrary to its rules, sell personal data, or use commercemon to monitor stores without authorization.
4. Reports and Metric Methodology
commercemon normalizes records from different platforms, but source systems do not always use identical fields or status models. Daily GMV and other derived metrics follow the methodology shown in the service or related documentation. Unless an explicit currency-conversion rule is selected, totals in different currencies remain separate.
Click, traffic, conversion, advertising, or affiliate metrics are displayed only when the applicable marketplace provides and authorizes them. Reports are operational tools and are not accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice. You remain responsible for verifying decisions against the source marketplace and official financial records.
5. Subscriptions and External Billing
Where permitted by the applicable marketplace rules, paid commercemon plans may be purchased outside the marketplace through a supported payment processor. Prices, billing periods, included usage, and renewal terms are shown before checkout.
Subscriptions renew until canceled unless stated otherwise. Taxes and currency conversion may depend on your location and payment provider. Marketplace subscription or service-market requirements may apply separately and may be required before a local store can authorize the service.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel future renewal from the available billing controls or by contacting support. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, fees already paid are non-refundable after service access or data synchronization has begun.
7. Data and Privacy
You retain your rights in the business data you authorize us to process. You instruct us to retrieve, store, normalize, and display that data solely to provide the service. Our handling of personal information and connection credentials is described in the Privacy Policy.
Disconnecting a store stops future synchronization after revocation is detected. Requests to export or delete stored data can be submitted through the signed-in support channel, subject to limited legal, billing, security, and backup-retention requirements.
8. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Violate law, marketplace developer terms, sanctions, or third-party rights.
- Access another user's workspace, credentials, stores, or reports.
- Interfere with service security, integrity, availability, rate limits, or platform APIs.
- Introduce malware, automate abusive requests, or use exports for spam, fraud, discrimination, or unlawful profiling.
- Misrepresent commercemon as being endorsed by a marketplace.
9. Availability and Changes
We aim to provide a reliable service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every platform field will always remain available. We may adjust synchronization schedules, supported scopes, regional capabilities, or features to comply with marketplace or legal requirements. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.
10. Intellectual Property
commercemon and its original software, design, and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the hosted service during your valid subscription; they do not transfer ownership of our software or marketplace trademarks.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address security risk, non-payment, unlawful use, platform complaints, or material breach of these Terms. You may stop using the service and request account closure through support. Sections that by nature should survive termination remain effective.
12. Disclaimers and Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as available" basis. We are not responsible for marketplace outages, API changes, seller-account restrictions, inaccurate source data, or decisions made without verifying official records.
Liability limitations and any mandatory consumer rights will be determined by the law applicable to the contracting commercemon operator and customer. The operator identity and governing-law clause must be completed before public commercial launch.
13. Changes and Contact
We may update these Terms and will revise the date above. Material changes will receive additional notice when required. Questions, cancellation requests, and account-closure requests may be submitted through the support function in the commercemon dashboard.
